Read a post somewhere yesterday that suggested TMPGEnc stability problems may be caused by pushing your system too much...
The only thing i was pushing on my system was my memory....had it at CAS 2 when i know its only CAS 3
My system has been fine for months....had no problems.
When running TMPGEnc in batch processing (say 4 projects) 9 out of 10 times, 3 of the 4 would fail with either read or write errors.
I changed my memory settings back to CAS 3 last night and have done 2 projects since then....Both times TMPGEnc had no problems.
2 projects hardly constitutes a strong case but ill let u know as i do more.
Looks like its working so far though.

Rock solid stability here.
Using v2.50, I have yet to have it crash once. I've been batch encoding 4 to 8 projects a day for the last three days. I have even encoded SVCD and VCD projects on the same batch file.
All the author needs to do now is put an effort into documenting the features of this great app. Then it'll be ready for market, IMHO.
I'm running 2000 here, btw.
