Hi, when I used tmpgenc to cut a mpg or mpeg-1 file the audio is always out of sync in the output file can any one suggest what i am doing wrong please? much appreciated.
or are there any other programs to effectively and quickly! cut an mpg or mpeg-1 file?

i have the same prob
onley on some divx codec
did read some where that the new version of vdub would fix it
and when i make a divx clip with vdub i onley get audio on the first half of the movie
and i have tested 2 rip the sound of the divx and onley use vdub streamserver 2 TEMPEnc for video
and then mux the audio and video
but it get out of sync anyway ;(
(a cut and a encoding prob for me)
this is a realy boring prob so plz post a msg and help us out
