  1. I've doggedly followed the instructions on this site for preparing my ATI card to capture video (downloaded and installed Directx 8.0, Directx for video capture + latest Radeon drivers), still when I try to run TV from ATI launch pad I get an error that says drivers not found, close any programs like DVD player which may be using them (none are running).
I should mention that the ATI is NOT my primary display card, I got it originally for it's out-to-tv port, so I could transfer DivX's to tape. This works fine, I just move Media Player over to the extended desk top, resize it so the picture fits my tv screen and run. My primary display is the AGP card that came with the system.
But the box clearly states that it should capture in MPEG-2 format. I have the video in plugged into the S-Video out of my satellite tv box, so I can't really use the video guide to select a channel, I really just want it to work like a Dazzle. Is this possible?

  3. Actually, I mis-spoke when I referred to 'Radeon drivers.' What I installed was
    ATI Multimedia Center 7.1
which I got from this URL as directed by this site:

    http://support.ati.com/products/pc/radeon/radeon_drivers.html

and which is said to support all the following ati cards:

    ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON
    ALL-IN-WONDER 128 PRO
    ALL-IN-WONDER 128
    RADEON 64MB DDR VIVO
    RADEON 64MB DDR
    RADEON 32MB DDR
    RADEON 32MB (SDR)
    RADEON VE
    RAGE FURY PRO VIVO
    RAGE FURY PRO
    RAGE FURY
    RAGE MAGNUM
    RAGE 128
    RAGE 128 PRO
    XPERT 2000 PRO
    XPERT 2000
    XPERT 128
    XPERT 99

The 'drivers' that are specific to Radeon would be display drivers wouldn't they? I must have the correct drivers installed because ati File Player and ati DVD Player work, but I've got Media Player and WinDVD, so....
