  1. Hi Folks,

    I'm playing around with the UMF and cant get it to work.

    I try to burn VCD's and get the error that "The MPEG data of yxz.mpg exceeds VCD specifications" !!!!!!

    The yxz.mpg file has the following settings:
    Video: MPEG1, 24 bits, 352 x 288, 25 FPS, data rate 1280 all to me according to the VCD specs.

    Audio: Layer 2, 44100Hz, 16 bit, Dual channel, bit rate 224 kbps

    The yxz.mpg file is generated with TMPGEnc

    Please help !!!!

  2. hey try data rate 1246 instead of and audio 128 instead of 224.

    I just checked in Media Studio Pro and it lists the specs for a VCD as

    Video data rate 1123 Kbps
    Audio data rate 224 Kbps

    Hope this helps.
