    ok..i want to convert a .MOV file to an .MPEG with the SAME quality..i tried tmpgenc and winavi and they both didnt do that...is there a way to convert and have same quality?

    depends -- ussually you can .. even with tmpgenc ..

    never used winavi though ..

    nearly the same quality anyway ... depends on what the qt is / resolution / compression / etc ///

    Pick a resolution close to the source res. and use a high enough bitrate, should be almost the same.

    i did use a close resolution..and the bit rate was 8000 i think and sitll horrible
