I just bought a new Dell computer. Here is the spec:
Pentium 4 1.8GHz
384 RDRAM
100GB Hard drive (7200 rpm)
nVidia GeForce3 Ti200
etc.
I am looking to buy a TV/Video capture card. So could you guys please advise me on what to buy. I want something which will be future proof, so that it doesn't need much upgrading or replacing for a few years to come.
I know that MPEG2, MPEG3, MPEG4 and other formats are of the future, so I want something which incorporates these things.
Could you guys please tell me what capture card I should buy? Here are my basic needs:
1) To watch TV on my PC
2)To capture from TV, VHS video, Digital camera etc. with a decent resolution.
3) To convert TV/Video captures and DVDs to VCD/SVCD format.
If any of you have a capture card and you are happy with it and would like to recomend others to buy it too, why not just write the name of the product in this thread. Any kind of help would be really appreciated. Thanks.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!
