Hello, I have a problem that is driving me nuts! I've tried lots of things but none seem to fix it, any thoughts, help, ideas will be greatly appreciated.
When I use my Kworld conexant 878 capture card to capture Mpeg 2 video with Windvr 3 on my AMD 1.8Ghz WinME computer the Mpeg files will have points where the audio drops for about 5 second and nothing can be heard. The image does not flicker or anything like that (No video frames dropped). I did not have this problem before so I'm not sure what could be causing it. There is no pattern to this sometimes a movie will have 3 audio drops, some times just one.
Does anybody know how to correct this problem so that the audio doesn't drop?
I have tried MainConcept and Power VCR II but they crash on my computer. I've also reinstalled the drivers for the soundcard (on board sound card, syntax motherboard) I also have a PCI soundcard but for some reason WinDVR will not record the audio at all from the PCI sound card.
Thanks.
