I tried capturing in the new beta Divx and I noticed that it says
24 or 32 bit only so I thought I'd try setting it to rgb24 bit in
format and it went to a black screen!Everytime I hit(capture avi)now
it goes black.I don't know how to undo it.I'd use system restore(winME)but I have installed so much in the last day I don't want to
redo it.Anybody know a fix?I tried going to auxillary setup and removing preferences but it said it couldn't find any file, didn't work.I even tried running the previous VirDub over it but same thing.
I have an ATI TV Wonder with mm 7.1 and that wrapper so you can use
Virtual Dub with the drivers. Please help, want to use Virtual Dub again.

I don't think the new DivX4 beta is meant for capturing. I think it isn't supported. You will have to use the old 3.11 divx codec to capture.

No that isn't it I've already used the new divx with mm7.1
to capture the best of Phil Hartman on Saturday Night Live,
and it looks great.320x240.The problem is whenever I get into Vir Dub and even click on(capture avi)it will black
screen on me,before any settings have been set.It was on acount of me changing that setting I
previously stated. How do I undo this mistake?
