What is it that everytime I try to create a DVD out of still pictures the final result is somewhow faint and or fudgy pictures well not as clear as in pics even though the original resolution were enough for large screen output
I use whatever dvd producer and the end result is the same except for Ulead produced dvds which are somehow better than the rest but still not quite there.
Anyway, I take great care to edit my photos reduce noise compensate lighting etc.
Is there any application or codec that I can use to improve the final outcome?

    thanks

    Hi drwho,

List each tool you're using and the settings used for it. It will sound odd, but too high a bitrate can cause problems.

Attach a sample picture of the problem - it's easier to see what you're talking about.

If it's a sequence of stills (i.e. a slideshow), check out Slide Show Movie Maker - that's regularly recommended. You can then encode the AVI it outputs.
There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.

    Carpe diem.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
