TMPGenc or CCE to go from avi -> DVD...

I frameserve an avi with avisynth to TMPGEnc, and encode the audio seperately with BeSweet.exe/AC3Machine ...

I don't know how long it will take on a 2600...

    goodluck

  3. easiest way?? this is the way i do it

use mp3 freeze to check and delete bad frames. if you have ac3 sound (check with gspot) use goldwave to split the audio. use tmpgenc dvd template to convert the avi (include the wav from goldwave if you have split it otherwise use avi sound). use tmpgenc to de-multiplex into *.m2v and *.mp2. rename *.mp2 to *.mpa. author these two with ifoedit. Burn....easy
