  1. Hey I've downloaded an AVI file, and couldn't be watched.
So I downloaded a video codec and i get the video but no sound...
    I get the message
"The video u are opening includes audio data that is not recognized by the DivX player. The file contains the folling type of data:
    Audio data: Tag 8192
You may need to install a new audio codec on ur computer to listen to the audio."

Could some one please tell me what audio codec i need and where I can get it from..
    Thanks

  3. ac3 is tag 2000.
the divx player doesn't support most audio codecs.i think it just supports mp3.
so you'll have to use another player to watch it.if you have the right codec installed WMP will play it.
open the file with gspot to find out which audio codec it needs http://www.headbands.com/gspot/
