  1. I bought a dvd player last week. A JVC XV-N40. It is complete and compatible with almost everything. My problem is that some of my svcd or vcd that i did convert will not play on my standalone but they will on my friend dvd player. What will be the reason for that. I've been asking araound but nobody answer. Why is it that my dvd player will not play some of my movies but it will play on my friend old dvd player?

  3. Have you changed media or burn speed.

Are the files all pal ? all ntsc ? or a mixture, does your player only play the pal or ntsc ones ?.

    Is it multi region ?

  4. My player only plays NTSC. When i burn my cds i burn them all NTSC. Another question, is it possible that my player only plays cds that are burn with a cue sheet? I am not shure but i think the ones that plays are cue sheet ones. But still, why do they all play on my friend old dvd player?. A big thanks for answering because i do want to fix this problem.

  6. Can you tell me how to make shure i do the good thing. When i load my file with TMPGEnc i do make shure that i load the NTSC template. I do burn with Nero and also i make shure that it is NTSC. Maybe i do something wrong. Again why is it that it work with my friend dvd player.

  8. It seems that i am getting near solving my problem. The ones that dont want to play on my dvd player are the ones that were not burned with a cue sheet. Very strange, anybody would know the reason why? How do i make a cue sheet for a file?
