hi,
i have LITE-on cd writer, and it wont write CDRW's it has done once when i had it installed, but it just spits it right back out.
Am i doing something wrong here, do i have to erase the disk first n then chuck it back in or is my drive just f****d. I use nero 5.5.10.20 to burn my disks, apart from NERO asking me to throw in a empty disk thats the only message i get.
plz help.

You must erase The CD-RW disk everytime you want to use it again, you can use the quick erase option in NERO which will just delete the table of contents and should take no more than a mintue.
Or you can always do the full erase which i think should take no more than 10 mins, although i haven't actually done any timing of the full erase.
Erasing the disk at 10xspeed that is
Hope that helps yaI Have Always Been Here

i kinda thought that was the case, but my disks are brand new, and if they brand new do i still have to erase it?
reason i ask is because last night i wanted to burn a movie but i didnt wanna make a coaster (tends to happen) so i thought i use cdrw, i opened the packagaing, chucked it in, and it spat it back out,
well ill try erasing it when i get home,
thanks for your input marvel2020
