  1. I'm sure this applys to DVD movies as well but, I am trying to backup the Getaway using DVD Decrypter in ISO mode. Since i'm using Win98 I assume my problem is because of that. But, when I did ISO read mode it made 4 files instead of the normal 2 by the names of-

    Getaway.DVD
    Getaway.I01
    Getaway.ISO
    Getaway.MDS

Now, when I choose ISO Write mode it lets me pick either "Getaway.DVD" or "Getaway.ISO". Does anyone know why and what I should do?

    Thanks

Whats the size on those files? Remember Windows 98 has a max file size to deal with. The exact figure escapes me as I've had no sleep.

  3. Getaway.DVD 26 bytes
    Getaway.I01 188,418 kb
    Getaway.ISO 3.99 GB
    Getaway.MDS 5 k

The limit on win98 is 3.99 gigs per file which I understand with the actual ISO file, but what is this 188 mb .I01 file? Is that whats left over after the 3.99? Probably is. But what file do I choose under ISO write mode, "Getaway.DVD" or "Getaway.ISO" ?

  4. Hello...

choose the .ISO file. I would try using the file output if you are running 98, then burn the Video_ts folder and Audio_ts folder to a DVD-R as a data disc. I had success when I did it that way. The ISO output couldn't be read by my set top player. I wasn't sure if it was because of the 4 Gig file limit or not, but I wasn't going to load XP or 2000 just to find out.
