Hello all, I'm trying to convert a few DivX movies to VCDs. When I try to rip the the audio with VirtualDub v1.5.1 I get the following error:

Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'DIVX' (DivX4)

VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as one used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable.

I'm using the DivX 5.03 codec....any suggestions on what to do?

Note: This only happens with two of my DivX files, not all of them. Also, when I try to play these two files I get auido and no image. It is just a missing codec?

Well, that's why I asked. I thought that DivX 5.03 was backwards compatible. Thanks for the quick response!
