  1. OK, I'm way new to this video editting stuff, but I want to get into making equine (horse, for those of you how don't know) promotional videos.

I currently have a Gateway 700S Computer to work with. I am also looking at purchasing the Adobe Premier 6.5 software and the Canopus DV Storm card.

The question I pose is this: has anyone used this combination, or a similar combination? Does it work alright? Any Suggestions?

    Thanks!

I use Adobe Premier 6.5 and am extremly pleased with it. My experience with Premier came after enduring frustration with several lower priced video editing/authoring programs. The learning curve is very steep but if you stick with it, it will do absolutely everything you can imagine doing in video. Depending on your needs, you may want to move up to a more flexible authoring tool than the one bundled with Premier.

No experience with the Canopus card but have heard many good comments on it.
