  1. OK I am making backup of "Set it off".. It is a DVD9 and it has both Widescreen and Fullscreen on the DVD.. I used DVD Decrypter to rip all files off the DVD.. I used Power DVD to view the VOB's and removed the Widwscreen files "VTS_01_0.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO, and all 4 VOB's"..

Now my question is do I just burn the VIDEO_TS folder with nero, or is there something I have to do before buring..

Also what is the best version of nero to be useing when buring DVD's? I hear many dif. things...

any of the last few releases of Nero work

it just depends how you set it up as you can do it different ways

DVDROM(UDF/ISO) 1.02 is more compatiable with older players but it depends on your standalone

  3. Do I have to do anything to the other files since I removed those files before I burn the DVD?

  4. When in doubt I burn using a DVD-RW or DVD+R disc so I don't waste any media.

DVD-RW and DVD+RW are definitely the way to go! that way you can get rid of any old backups you might not want later on. then you save on coasters as well!
