    Can someone tell me of the best program to do the above?

    The situation is a I have a few music video DVD's that I want only a few songs from and I would like to have them has seperate .mpg or .divx files that I can just play from windows media or something..

    What program will allow me to rip the chapters I want to a seperate file for each chapter? I've mainly been doing dvd to dvdr rips so this situation is kinda new to me.. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!

    ain't Smartripper able to do chapter-ripping? I'm sure I used that program sometimes to rip certain parts out of a movie to encode the resulting .vob file with tmpgenc to a svcd .mpg file.

    is there a prog that does dvd to quicktime? I like to rip trailers but would love t have them in quicktime.
