I don't know what i'm doing wrong but i'm trying to convert AVI to DVD.
I've used Vdub to convert audio to 48K LPCM and the video NTSC (original is this at 29fps).
So to author, i've put the video source in Ulead MF2 and the wav file from Vdub into audio background. I've then let MF2 burn to disc after multiplexing.
I have excellent picture BUT no sound. Whats wrong?
I've even tried using VOB instant CD/DVD to burn using the authored files from MF2 and I have no picture at all with this although the disc looks like it burned.
I've tested it on winDVD and DVD player
Please help as i am a dumbo and can not work it out myself

I tried to use .wav file for audio in MF2 and played in the preview but final VOB file had no audio.
Why can't you just use TMPGEnc to create a DVD mepg file from your .avi file?
