CVD on Denon

Hi!
Another question. On DVDRHelp DVD-Players list I see that my Denon 1500 read CVDs, but doesn't read SVCD.

Is any solution to make CVD without header trick?
Now I can make CVD only with MPEG2 352x576 with header trick. But this is trick and this way I can make SVCD (480x576 MPEG2) too. But DVDRHelp says - Denon 1500: CVD - yes, SVCD - no!

My question is: is any other way to make CVD without header trick?
Why I ask? When I make header trick I receive quasi-MPEG1 with 352-576 resolution, byt I lose my second audio track and selectable subtitles.
