Greetings
Forgive the newbie question here, but I've just gotten into DVD to DVD-R and I've ran into a bit of a snag. Whenever previewing video files in 3 of the programs I use (Ifoedit, Vobrator, IC7) the programs either crash or display nothing. I've copied several disks without a hitch but it would be nice to be able to use the preview option on these programs so I don't go into something blindly.
In IC7, whenever you get to the point where you can adjust the video quality and remove subs/tracks from the video files, there is a preview tab. Hit play on it, the program pauses for a second, and then displays nothing (black).
In Vobrator, whenever I go to play a particular file, I either get the message "failed to render graph", or the screen just stays black with the play button pressed.
In Ifoedit, I press the DVD play button, the screen comes up, and after a few seconds the program crashes. Illegal operation linked to file CLVSD.AX. I checked on this, this is a file in my PowerDVD directory.
I'm running Win98SE and I've got PowerDVD 3.0 installed for Mpeg2 playback. Tried uninstall/reinstall of PowerDVD, no dice. Any ideas?
-thanks
