I have the JVC XV-S500.
I have the Hitachi FDX-01B.
Well, now that thats out of the way...
When the DVD player is set to 480i, the picture displays, and plays, fine.
However, when set to 480p, occassionaly, the whole screen will go black for maybe 3 seconds. Happens 3-4 times a movie.
You might say, that why not just leave it on Interlaced Scan. Well, I bought that model, thinking, that a Progressive Scan DVD Player would go nicely with a Progressive Scan Projection Television.
Was I wrong?
Or, is something else amiss.
EDIT...
If on FF or RW, the picture can be viewed and no black screen will appear.
