  1. I had ripped some DVD-9s on my hard disk using Smartripper (With all files). I can use DVD2one to burn to one DVD-R. I am not happy with the quality, now I wish to burn on two disks. What programme do I use? I have tried DVD X Copy (It needs original DVD which I can not find!), same thing with DVD Decrypter.

    Pleas help. I knew some dos commands which I can not recall to load them as a fake drive (So it is a virtual DVD rom!).

    Thanks.

  2. If you know any "dos" commands..that's pretty scary... I'm sure you probably know a few like the "catalog" command on the old
    APPLE IIE systems....but those won't help you here. Anyway, I think if you want two disks you can use "IFOEdit." There is an option in IFOEdit to split to 2 DVDRS. I've never used that option but i'm sure it will help you out.

  3. Thanks for that, I do not want to go into programming language. I want a simple solution. I know DVD2one verson 1.1.1 does to two disk (Full copy), but demo does not allow to try it, what is the point in having that option. I am not going to spend money unless I know if it works!

    I don't like using infoedit. It is too hard to use.

    Thanks.

    Too hard to use? I'm just curious..what Dos commands did you say you know? I hope you don't work for NASA.

    The program that allows you to "mount" a file(s) as a virtual DVD player is at www.d-tools.de. I've had some trouble getting into the site but you should be able to fine it somewhere on the web. It work great.

    Hope this helps

  8. dvdtoolbox works with some DVD rips but not with others. I have used the same ripping method so there should be no difference. It it a bug in the software?

    Thanks

    This option in DVD2one is a full copy to one dvd, not split to two. If you want to split the dvd to 2 dvdrs use ifoedit or dvd x copy. To mount the image to your computer use Daemon Tools ( http://www.daemon-tools.com/ ). Good luck.

    I use ifoedit for all my backups. It is not hard if you use doom9.org duides. Follow instructions from

    "Guides" (on the left) -> "DVD/miniDVD" -> "DVD backup guides" -> "DVD-9 -> 2 DVD±R using IfoEdit"
