I have this movie, in 2 XVID avi's.
The movie plays fine in Windows media player, in terms of picture quality and frame rate.
But I get NO audio. When I launch TMPGenc plus, I point to the .avi and it only populates the video field, leaving the audio blank. What gives? Am I missing a setting somewhere? Do I need a different kind of codec?
The avi looks perfect in every other respect... It's the weirdes thing...
Any suggestions welcome![]()

Get the tool GSpot from the tools section.
<-- Right over there
Open the avi in GSpot and it will identify the audio codec, video codec, tell you if you have those codecs intalled, ect.. -
Thank you!!
I'll try that later today.

WOW!
That was amazing. In 2 minutes I knew that I was missing the ac3 codec and in another 2 minutes, I had it installed and I was viewing the avi with sound.
