  1. Does anyone else have problems with no sound in lord of the rings. File is in three parts. Gspot says it is ac3, and virtualdub says tag2000. Video palys excellent just no sound. Thoughts- suggestions, ?

    You need an AC3 codec. I assume this isn't a backup you did yourself?

  3. No, it is not a backup I did. Other vids with ac3 seems to play okay. If I look in multimedia for codecs ac3 isn't listed, but if I look in system files there are some ac3 files there. I've got the usuals nimo, divx3.11, divx 5.1. Whats the next step? Thanks.

  4. yea jus go download the AC3 audio codec!
    should work jus fine. but ya should go and get the actual dvds when they come out! gotta support the multimedia/film/TV industry dont know bout the music industry thou :P 8)
    for real thou gotta support the industries out there! without them all dis $h!t wouldnt be possible.
