Hi, I just would like to know if anyone success authoring XVCD for APEX 660. IF yes, Could you please give me some setting for TMPGenc.
I have tried all these setting
1. 352x240 CBR over 1650
2. 352x240 VBR max 1950 min 1150 (from SEVCD template)
3. VBR/CBR with 23.976 fps
All XVCDs play strange in my APEX, after 6-10 minutes picture would go fast forward for a sec. or two then play normal, back and forth.
Thanks for all the helps

Sounds like XVCD just doesn't work.
That wierd fast-forwarding might be the VBR being played back at a constant speed...
I still don't understand, why don't people just stick to standard compliant cd's? VCD really IS just as good or better than VHS, and even people who work in the industry can't tell SVCD from broadcast or DVD quality... -
because sometime VCD's quality isn't good enough. I actually make SVCD for all movie under 2 hours and standard VCD or sefy's template for movie over 2 hours. But I just found out that all my SVCDs cannot play in VCD player that why I wanna try XVCD.

XVCD's will also not play on your VCD Player, it only plays Standard Video-CD discs, nothing else, as far as I know, it can't even read CDRW discs properly.
