converting downloads avi film from internet via kazaalite

hi is there anybody can help me coz i download a avi film from kzaalite and i want to burn it to dvd but i dont have any idea to do it, i got dvd+/-rw+/-r sony? one more thing how can i burn a vhs movie to dvd?

You probably have a DivX format to convert to DVD MPEG. Click here.

To put a VHS video ontp a DVD, you first capture it to your computer using a capture card. Read the Newbie Guides and then the Capture section at left.

Once you have captured the video into your computer, you convert it to DVD MPEG-2 video.

Next, either your converted DivX or VHS video to DVD MPEG-2 video is then "burned" to a DVD. Read the Author section at left.

im sorry but im really a newbie, do i need to convert my avi file to divx? everytime im opening the video file in TMGEnc i cant locate it, but when im running the downloaded avi file from kazaalite and playing it to theatre kazaa i can watch it but what i really want to do is converting it to dvd, is there any other way?

you can load or watch teh video is because you don't have that codec installed.

If your lazy, get Nimo Codec Pack (in the tools sidebar) (also a bad choise in my opinion).

Or get all the latest codecs yourself. DivX 5.0.3, XviD, DivX 3.11 Alpha, and the Radium MP3 codec.

Just do a google search for each of them. Or just type in each on of the codecs on kazaalite if you want.
