DVD Player playback is upside down

i am new to this and i took an imax film which i knew would fit on 1 cdr. it was an avi which i did not convert to mpeg... all i did was use nero and burn the cdr and when i went to play the imax film on my dvd player, the playback on the tv was upside down... any ideas why?

Try convert with another tool like tmpgenc. If it is still upside down you may have installed too many codecs and filters.

so are you saying that i SHOULD convert the avi to an mpeg first with tmpgenc and then burn it with NERO?

and should i use cdr or cdrw?

(how would i know whether i installed too many codecs, not the right ones... and filters.....no idea what they are)
