Kaicherry help Using 42 never can get past prescanning

I have a 400 MHz sawthooth AGP mother board Powermac G4 with 384MB of Ram and I have OS 10.2.4 or what eve the latest version of Jaguar is and I tried to use 42 on 3 movies (Eve's Bayou, US Marshals, and one other movie I cant remeber right now and when I tried to make a dvd copy of my dvd it just prescanned and never went past that step and I let it got for about 30-40 min (went downstairs and did other stuff)

Can you help me out
Also I have the 1.5 version of 42

Well, I'm not Kai, and I haven't used 42 in a couple of weeks, but I hate seeing that goose-egg on a help forum.

The only time I had something like that happen was when one of the support files was missing. Check Library/Application Support/forty-two, you should have the following files/folders; DieRightNow, mpeg2enc, mencoder, mplayer, font. And you might want to update to 1.5.2. I would trash everything related to 42 and reinstall. Good Luck.
