  1. For some unknown reason, I can't get DVD Decrypter or DVD2One to copy DVDs I've made of my home videos. I created compliant titles with DVD Movie Factory 2, Sonic MyDVD 4.0 and other programs. These DVDs have no problem playing on any player, but they can't seem to be used in any copying program I have.

Anybody run into this problem? Does this mean I should just make as many original discs as I can once I've set up the authoring?

as far as I know DVD2One doesn't burn the movie

if all you want is another copy of what you made then use Record Now, Nero, or any other program and do a straight disc copy

There's no intrinsic reason why you can't copy DVD-R's you've created, no... You might just be going about it the wrong way.

DVD-R's that you make are not CSS encrypted, so you don't need DVDDecrypter for that. Nor does it need to be re-encoded, since your source is (obviously) already within the DVD-R's size limits, so you shouldn't need to use DVD2One.

What you need to use is a straight 1:1 disc-copying program. Prassi PrimoDVD can do this, and I'm told (though I haven't tried it) that the latest versions of Nero can do it also.

When you burn the original why don't you just create an image file at that time?

If DVD movie factory won't do it, DVD workshop will but I think DVD MF will too.

  7. Q: So you're saying that you can play your DVDR discs on your PC, but DVD Decrypter can not make/rip an ISO image file of the DVDR? If so then something is seriuosly wrong. Did you try playing the DVDR in your DVD burner (it made the disc so it sould be able to read it).

  8. To Vejita-sama:

You are right...something was seriously wrong! And it happened to be y DVD-Rom drive which could not read my burned discs on DVD+RW. So I just used the DVD burner to run with Decrypter. I would not have considered this obvious solution for a long, long time without your feedback! Thanks!
