  1. i'm trying to convert a mpeg to avi using virtualdub. i did this with other mpeg files and they came out fine. but one has a problem in the end, the audio and video dont go together. in the beginning its fine, the problem happens toward the end. for the audio compression i tried MPEG Layer-3 128kbit, 192kbit and 96kbit. all with 44,100 Hz stereo. for the video i tried xvid, divx 3 and divx 4. they all have the same problem. the mpeg is fine, the audio and video go together throughout the whole video. can someone tell me what i can do to fix this problem or if there is another software that will do this for me without any problems?

  2. oh and i cant do it using divx 5.0.2 as the compression. there is an error that comes and goes really fast. i think that it wont work because divx 5.0.2 has restrictions.
