Good gosh ol' mighty! I installed WinXPpro and my first impression was that I turned my computer into an oversized GameBoy!!!!! LOL

I have reverted to the "Windows Original" theme but it still looks like a toy. Is there any way to get a truly professional "look" from this OS? I've installed both WinXPpro and Win2000pro to compare their suitability for media editing but scarry visions of Debbie Gibson and Tiffany keep running through my head whenever I boot to XP!

    Regards,

My suggestion. Delete the OS, and if you are wanting to keep your PC, install Redhat or one of the other variations. Much better than any Windows crap.

That's kinda funny...I spent some time yesterday at www.linuxiso.org. There is a good possibility that I may be adding a 4th and 5th OS to my system for testing purposes, can never hurt to try 'em all out!

I do mac support, but I still use my PC for working with DVDs, more software in that case. OSX is an killer OS, but I only have an imac DV+ and its a little sluggish on it. Even with 10.2.

Heh, the first time I saw Windows XP with the default theme my impression was that it would be the perfect OS for those "Barbie"- and "Hot Wheels"-themed PCs for kids that were being sold a few years back.
