Mac question: This forum and the Safari browser.

Any specific known reason why I can't get the cookie to work with the
Safari browser?

Nevermind I fix it. Not only did I fix it but I did so with something I've done like a billion times on a PC just never before had to on my mac. Delete cookies, try again.

Work has started to monitor our PCs and as a Mac tech I just moved my surfing habbits over, would have already if our Macs were not so darned slow up here. But I have my fingers crossed for the 500mhz G3imac so we'll see.

Well even though our department is small, and even though we support just about every product apple sells at our stores they decided that we only get upgrades about every 4 or 5 years. Therefore unless we own it ourselves likely we are winging it. So yeah its kinda nice to have these 350 450 and a few 500 imacs, cause they are blazing compaired to what we used before. One word: beige.

Good news is I now have the imac DV SE 500 on my desk, its a little low on RAM for my taste but smuggling some ram in here is quite easy. I hope to upgrade it to 256 so I can really get some OSX fun going. Of course we've noticed that OSX 10.2 or Higher with full colors has a screen refersh problem reguardless of how low you set it. but oh well. I like it still.

Now that I have the 500 I'll just keep my fingers crossed for one of the cubes instead.
