I have been trying to convert an avi movie for a project to mpeg 2. The problem is when we encode it in tmp it encodes as a .mv2+wav or something like that. then after it finishes ecoding we have seperate files. One movie and one wave. The only ting is the movie won't open. How do we convert this without have two seperate files and have it acutually work.

    Thanks 8)

You need to select System (video+audio) which will produce 1 mpeg file, not ES (video+audio) which produces an audio and a video file. Rather than re-encoding, you can take the 2 files you created and multiplex them into one mpeg using TMPGEnc's mpeg tools. Hope that helps!

Under the first step in the tmpgenc wizard choose cbr mpeg1 audio at the right bottom list.
