I've tried making a small clip with each one but am not sure which one looks better. Anyone got some feedback on their experiences with these two filters. I've given up on avisynth at this point. Thanks.

Because I can't get it to work. I've got the latest version, 2.08 and several folks here have given me sample scripts but avisynth can't seem to open my capture file. Maybe it has a problem with windows xp. I don't know but it seems to be more trouble than its worth unless someone knows what I'm doing wrong.

What are you capping to? like .avi or .mpg or what? and are you using a codec like huffy or jpeg? avisyth didnt like my huffy capture .avi and wouldnt open them for some reason i am running win2k tho :\

Yes, I use the Huffy codec and finally got it to work. Looks real good on the test clip. Can't wait to encode and burn it to disc. Should look super.
