A friend of mine sent me a bunch of .rar files, and when i uncompressed them, it was a big .iso file. It wasn't a traditional image or rom file. I was wondering how i would make this a regular CD (the iso IS a cd, i just can't access it). Nero will burn it as ONE file, but not as a CD. I was wondering if there is some extraction method needed?
thanks!

When you have the ISO, what is the extension, that will tell you the program that was used to create it.
cif= Easy Cd creator etc.
Like already said a program like CD marge or Isobuster can extract the files from most ISO's -
an ISO file is a type of CDImage (such as CDI, BIN/CUE, CIF, NRG, CCD, etc.) since u want to burn it u can use ANY CD burning program. if you use Adaptec EZCD, go to File->Create CD from Image and then select ISO. Fireburner and CDRWin u can just choose Open ISO and load and burn it and itll burn the CDImage. I don't know how to do it with Nero, but im almost positive it should work almost like EZCD. you might ask why do all burning programs burn it? and the answer is simple ISO stands for International Standards Org (www.iso.org) and its an international standard file...meaning that it basically "MUST" be supported. anyways... theres how u burn it, if u do want to use ISOBuster (www.isobuster.com) u just load the ISO and u can browse through the DIR to get what u want. but since its a WinXP ISO, you'll wanna burn the whole damn thing. hope that was helpful. =)

If you use Nero 5.5:
File >> Burn Image >> Choose 'All Files *.*' >> turn all the fields off in the new window. >> everything else 'deafult' >> click on burn and finalize. That's it.
