  1. I am trying to burn SVCD's on dvdr. I got three SVCD's that will fit on a dvdr disc how do i go about burning them on that. I dont want to convert to dvd i want them to be svcd on dvdr. Any help would be greately appericiated thanks

  2. It is not possible to have "SVCD on DVDR". This format does not exist. You CAN use SVCD video as the source material for a DVD-video. There is a guide on how to do this under Authoring.

    You put dvd-video on a dvd-r/rw or dvd+r/rw if you want it to play on most standalone dvd players.

    Some few standaleone dvd players supports so called "mpeg iso/data playback" which means that you can play unauthored mpegs. You can for example just copy the svcd mpegs to the dvd as data files and burn and then you should be able to select the mpg files from a file browser and play them.

    My cheapo ($54.00 US) player will play files on a disk. This means I can put SVCD MPG's on the disk and they will play. This can be real clean, since it will 'play all', I generally put them in a folder and sequentially number them.

    This only works for some players. Realistically you need to glue them together ( trim a few seconds of repeated footage ?) and re-encode into the correct format. Letterboxing is good sometimes.......

  6. well for me all i need to do is change the audio from 44 to 48 kps and they play fine.
