I'm having aproblem getting my PC running Windows XP to see my Sony DCR TRV18 DV camera. It has worked in the the past, but I recently installed a ATI Wonder VE capture card. Now my PC doesn't see my camera when I plug it in via firewire. The display on the camera reads 'DV in', so I know the connection to the card is good. The 1394 card is listed in the Devices window and there are no IRQ conflicts. I have tried removing the ATI Wonder card and have even used XP's system restore feature to restore from a point before the capture card was installed.
Could the ATI Wonder VE card have caused this problem. If so, are there any drivers that may have been replaced by the capture card that 1394 uses? Is there some setting on my camera that I am missing?
