I have 4 mpeg2's I want to put on a dvd. After trying unsuccessfully for a week to join with Tmpgenc and other software, I was wondering if I cannot just join them with an authoring program. Also they were 480*480 so instead of using dvd patcher (wont work) i re-encoded them to 720*480-48K in tmpgenc, which gave me 4 working (Synced) mpegs. But i then needed to demux them in order to put them in my authoring program (with tmpgenc) and doing this now causes a 2 or 3 second sound delay when i play them in the authoring program. Any Ideas why. And Will this approach work, joining them in the authoring program

You can try joining them with Video Studio 6. Just drop them all on the Storyboard line and save them as an MPEG-2 file.
