Hello all,
I am running the following setup:
Player - Apex 800
Burner - Plextor 12/10/32A
Software - SVCD mpeg clips encoded in TMPGEnc using an ASF file and a seperate .Wav file for audio. SVCD burned in Nero 5.5 following standard procedures.
8 tracks with menu.
Problem - The SVCD format movies, when played on my computer using WinDVD run fine. When I burn them all to a CDR and throw them in the Apex 800 player the first few seconds of each clip contain jerky video and occasional high-pitched audio chirps. The problem seems to level out after the first 30 seconds of each clip. Almost like it takes the player a few seconds to get used to the SVCD.
Do any of you know what can be causing this? I had gathered that it is either A) My burning software or B) The DVD Player that is causing this. It could also be a problem with the encoding in TMPGEnc but as far as I know I did that correctly.
