tmpeg - dvd2avi option help

after reading guides to conversion i have been trying to convert a dvd to vcd. all is soud until in tmpg 2.510 i get to load up the video and in the load file list the D2V selection doesnt show so i cant load the file that i just ripped in smartripper. I've had the newest versions on so can someone tell me if i'm missing a plug in or not as this is really testing me

in older versions of tmpgenc you will need the vfapi plugin in the tmpgenc folder to be able to open d2v files. the newest version of tmpgenc comes with this built into it.
