  1. hello

as you know im new to all this but i have successfully backed up a host of dvd movies but the couple of times whilst encoding i have had a few errors come up and lose 2 odd hours!

1st error was "mpeg2 error?" 2nd was "virtual memory"

both times it fouled up the lot,

the movie i was backing up was the 2nd half of triple x

  2. what program and encoder are you using?

If you are using DVD2SVCD then good, if not then i suggest you switch to that and also use Cinema Craft encoder 2.5, the movie quality produced by this program is great!

  4. virtual memory error means (probably ) that you either have, say only 128mb and your program really wants more OR that you are running too many programs at the same time. the other error means vin diesel is going to rip your pants off!!
