  1. Just wondering if any of you have done a dvd backup of movies that have full screen and widescreen on same side with a menu that lets you pick what version you want to watch? i would like to only encode the full version. can you use it with the registry hack and how does it effect the menu if you remove one version? Does it screw up the backup?

    thanks,

  2. yeah done one already!! enough us copy!! anyway I removed the full screen version & created the pdi images. Once all this was done I extracted the image to a video_ts folder used a little program called menuedit that I cont from a link at dooms site then barred the menu from selecting the 4.3 version.. also barred the subs menu & audio menu leaving the trailer & music video! worked a treat & the dvd playes just like B4.

  4. no U select vob 0 which contain the menu info but U have 2 unpack the image with pdixtract which is quite straight forward & if U know how many buttons are in the selection menu & the postions U just delete the one U dont want. Make a backup of vob 0 first though. The best way to check U R deleting the right button check the menu out in powerdvd or windvd as this will display the number of buttons & their positions. Once U have done all this use ifo edit to get the vts sectors then burn it with whatever software U would normally use.
