  1. Hello,

I was wondering if anyone likes/dislikes VS7 from Ulead. I downloaded the demo and it seems very easy to use. It also can output .iso images so I can burn DVDs on a different PC without extra software. I also like that it does not re-encode NTSC 352x480.

However, I have read some reviews and some people do not like it since it does not have some of the better editing capabilities. I have went to some of the sites of other DVD authoring/editing and I have downloaded demos that I did not like. VS 7.0 is the best DEMO, but I know there are many others that I cannot try because they do not have a demo available.

Does anyone use these others and have compaired to VS 7.0? I want to buy a program, but I want to be sure it's right for me before I buy it.

    Thanks.

  2. Like you, I just started using it after not being able to get Pinnacle S8 to work without crashes. I've like other Ulead products and DVD Workshop it too expensive.
I find the final quality EXCELLENT. I have also captured and edited in VS7 and then used MovieFactory 2 to add slides to it and it also came out superb.
    Final score A-

    Good luck
    Paul

  3. pcostanza,

thanks for the input. I wish others would allow a trial download. There are so many bad programs I cannot justify spending the money unless I know it will work. Im sure there are other good ones, but I will never know.
