  1. Hello,

I read several posts where people use dvd2one, ifoupdate, ifoedit and this calculator, but the instructions they gave showed that the shrinking part is in the dvd2one program. But I didnt see any part in the Dvd2one where you can input the size you want or the calculations you did. How do I shrink the vobs? Thanks.

Also, another part is that when using DVD2one it keeps on saying cannot decrypt protected data after it finish processing. How do I go around this?

DVD2ONE ver.1.00 does not have the box to set the file size, you need version 1.01 for that. You could use Make-It-Easy with version 1.00 to accomplish the same thing.

DVD2ONE cannot convert from the DVD disk, you must rip it in file mode to your HD with DVD Decrypter.

  3. Okay thanks.

I dled the make it easy program. I have also stripped the vobs and ifos onto the hd. And separated the episode vobs so the make it easy can read it more easily. I see the extras and the pad but dont know how to shrink it. I entered 250 mb for the extras that are on the disc, and there is a total of 7.5 gb on the dvd. What should i do. It only shows 500mb as the pad. what does this mean? Thanks.

  4. Also,

After doing that, the size of the vobs were about the same as before. Is it suppose to be like this or did I do something wrong. Please let me know. Thanks.

  5. I remember trying this.
You have to treat each vob title set (episode) as if it is the movie and pad that with makeiteasy. Do each separately and then put them together.
It was a real guessing game to get each title set (episode) to be the right size to fit them all along with the menus.
I'm sure there is some formula for this but I couldn't get it.

My suggestion, use dvd2one version 1.02
It will take out the guessing part as you can assign the final size of each title set.

IfoUpdate will be needed on each title set before you burn.

    Hope this helps you
