DivX to VCD using TMPGEnc for play on SCAN SC-2000

I am trying to convert my divx files for play on my scan sc-200 dvd player. however when i try to burn with roxio ezcd creator 5 it throws it out everytime, why? it even throws out my files which play perfectly well already on my scan player!!!! something to do with the system clock??

how do i change the system clock?
what should my settings be on TMPGE?
why is something that should be so easy a pain in the bloody arse ???????

Hit the "LOAD" button and load a "template" this will then make a compliant VCD.mpeg for Easy Cd Creator
