  1. i download the trial Version to try it out before buying the Full Version. But to my surprise, it take me 5 hrs to burn a DVD track.

I had perviously capture this mpeg2 using snazziIII PCI card, using a 8Mbitsrate. I import into DVD workshop and found out it take me 5 hrs to burn a 45 mins DVD using the same 8 M bitrate..

    WHy ?

    Thanks for the help.

Workshop shouldn't reconvert if the mpeg2 is dvd compliant. You may have to remultiplex your captured mpeg2 and it may work better. You can use tmpgenc, www.dvdrhelp.com/faq#multiplex and open your mpeg2 source as both video and audio and choose mpeg2 program vbr and make a new mpeg2.

  3. If your mpeg2 file has a variable bitrate then when it comes to writing your DVD, click on the CD icon and it pops up a list of options. Choose Customise and then set it to Variable and then the Bitrate to 8000. It should then skip the encoding of your MPEG2 file and just write it all to disk.

If your MPEG2 is on a constant bitrate then just leave the setting at Constant and change the bitrate to the same as your movie.

  4. Thanks Bro Baldrick and bro PlayingKarrde..

I had just found out my Moviemill capture in NTSC and the DVD workshop burn in PAL format...
That may be the problem why Workshop Convert my NTSC format to PAL format...
    Is this the reason?

How can i solve this problem ?

    THanks for all the comment.

Change the settings to NTSC before you import the video.
