Are there any capture cards that are any good at capturing in VCD compliant mpeg 1 for under £100?
I dont want to be having to reconvert after capturing.
Will the results be very good with my Duron 800?
A TV tuner would be nice as well.

The only new card in that price range is the Trueblue Action card. You can order it from Asia for $140 on eBay.

I have the ATI TV Wonder, which I got from http://www.redstore.com for less than 40 quid. You HAVE to visit ATI's home page to get Multimedia centre 7.1 (especially if you have a TNT2 graphics card!!!), as the drivers and MMC on the supplied CD are outdated. You will then be able to capture VCD compliant MPEG. My system is a Duron 800, 256MB RAM, Windows ME.
