Does anybody know a way around this? Yesterday I imported an MPEG2 file into Ulead MF2 (trial) and setup chapter points and thumbnails. Then I made the mistake of closing MF2 and trimming several seconds off of the end of the MPEG2 file. When I go back to MF2 to finish and burn, the program states that the file has changed and has to be relinked and then MF2 purges the Chapter Point and Thumbnail information! I had also been hoping to save the MF2 project in order to try various captures of the same tape with the same chapter points, etc. but this does not seem possible. It would sure be nice if MF2 could associate chapter points and thumbnail timecodes with any source file. Suppose that a burned DVD is lost or destroyed. If I have the original source tape, I could re capture to a new file and use the saved MF2 project file for that tape to quickly create a replacement DVD. Otherwise, it seems senseless to save the project file if the associated MPEG2 file is not saved. Does anyone else wish they could do this?
