  1. Im a bit of a newbie but having some fun learning. I have many older family vhs tapes that Im wanting to put on dvdr. Due that quality isnt that great I thought cvd format would be good to keep what qaulity I have and still be able to put alot on a dvdr. I am using unlead movie factory 2 for authoring but the encoding seems to take a long time, rather do in tpmge or......? I was doing analog captures but decided to splurge and get a DAC-100 for DV capture and really like it. I purchase dv canopus raptor
but it wont work with the DAC -100 . Open for any advise with what my setup is.

  2. If you go to the TOOLS section here you'll find a plethora of TMPGEnc templates of which "puertorican138's CVD" is one. I would start with that and tweek it (since you are having fun learning) until you get the exact results you want.
